Join Our Team as a Videographer/Editor!
Are you passionate about storytelling through video? Do you have a talent for capturing compelling moments and turning them into engaging content? Shell Point, the country’s largest, single-site life plan community, is seeking a Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team. As our Videographer/Editor, you will be at the forefront of capturing the vibrant life and stories of Shell Point residents, events, and community initiatives. Your work will be showcased across Shell Point TV (our in-house television channels), the Shell Point Resident App, social media platforms, and digital sales initiatives. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape the way our community sees itself and how the world sees Shell Point.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and Create: Produce high-quality video content for SPTV, social media, website, sales tools, and resident communications.
- Support Sales and Marketing: Develop video assets for promotional videos, event highlights, and community stories that reflect Shell Point's mission and lifestyle.
- Engage with Residents: Film resident testimonials and community events, bringing their stories to life.
- Multi-Platform Optimization: Edit content for digital distribution, ensuring it’s engaging and platform optimized.
- Studio and Field Production: Operate cameras, capture high-quality audio, and manage lighting for both studio shoots and on-location events.
- Innovate with Technology: Utilize drones for aerial footage and execute non-linear editing with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Marketing, Sales, and other departments to develop impactful visual stories that align with Shell Point’s communication goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered.
- Experience: 3+ years in video production, broadcasting, or digital media.
- Skills:
- Advanced non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Proficiency in Photoshop and motion graphics.
- Experience with TV production and live broadcast.
- Strong camera operation and audio capture skills.
- Ability to write compelling scripts and conduct on-camera interviews.
- Familiarity with master control for in-studio video capture.
- Drone operation for aerial shots (preferred).
- Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative spirit with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working flexible hours when required.
