Jhpiego Kenya is looking to engage a Videographer on a retainer contract. The engagement will be on a need basis based on specific job assignments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling and possess strong skills in videography and video editing using industry-standard software. S/he will capture and edit high-quality video footage in various settings. 









Responsibilities






  • Capture high-quality video content of the impact of Jhpiego’s projects.
  • Edit videos for Jhpiego’s platforms (digital or non-digital platforms), ensuring engaging and visually stunning content.
  • Manage and organize a large video library, including exporting and archiving footage efficiently.
  • In certain instances, operate drones to capture unique aerial perspectives (preferred but not required).
  • Own and deliver on the video process from concept to completion.








Required Qualifications






  • Experience in shooting and editing videos.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of video export formats and managing large video files.
  • The ability to operate a drone is a plus.
  • Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • A willingness to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Strong understanding and technical knowledge of production process from conception and to final delivery including pre-productions, production, post-production and deliverables.
  • Ability to tell a great story and move audiences to action.
  • Experience creating graphics for videos.
  • Experience producing   videos for web, social media, and mobile video content.
  • Strong written communications skills.
  • Preferably based in Nairobi or Kisumu.
