Note: This position is full-time, at 40 hours per week
General Responsibilities
Respond to all communications from YPR employees within 24 business hours, unless alternative arrangements have been approved in advance with the supervisor. (Includes text, phone, email, Slack, etc.)
Celebrate both large and small victories while identifying and addressing bottlenecks or barriers the chapter may be experiencing.
Comply with all YPR reporting procedures, including ADP time tracking, Concur expense reporting, Salesforce/Community updates, and census reports.
Communicate regularly with the supervisor to ensure data collection is conducted with fidelity, EPIC site implementation runs smoothly, and any challenges are effectively resolved.
Coordinate and align team members across all chapter projects, including social media marketing, community outreach, communications, financial reporting, and advocacy initiatives.
Obtain and maintain all required training and certifications as directed by the organization or supervisor, including but not limited to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).
Videographer/Producer
Position Overview:
The Videographer/Producer brings YPR’s mission and impact to life through dynamic visual storytelling. This position is responsible for producing creative, high-quality video content that captures the heart of recovery — from national campaigns and events to local chapters and community stories.
The ideal candidate has strong creative instincts, technical skills, and the flexibility to travel as needed to film interviews, events, and stories in communities across the country. This is a full-time role reporting to the Vice President of Digital Communications.
Film on location at YPR events, chapters, and campaigns across the country.
Plan, produce, and edit short- and long-form video content for social, web, and training use.
Conduct interviews and capture authentic recovery stories with clean audio and professional framing.
Deliver videos optimized for multiple platforms, ensuring captions, accessibility, and YPR branding.
Incorporate storytelling techniques, music, and graphics to create emotional and engaging visuals.
Manage production timelines, release forms, schedules, and post-production workflows.
Maintain and organize all production equipment and digital assets.
Collaborate with internal teams on creative concepts, scripts, and campaign storyboards.

Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 Annually

Required Qualifications:
3–5 years of professional experience in video production, filmmaking, or multimedia storytelling.
Regular availability and willingness to travel for video shoots and national events.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable editing software.
Demonstrated ability to independently plan, shoot, and edit projects.
Experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment.
Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Commitment to YPR’s mission and to recovery-centered storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience producing nonprofit, social impact, or advocacy content.
Demonstrated video portfolio featuring:
Single-camera shoots
Interviews with clean audio
Sizzle reels or highlight videos
Motion graphics or animation experience.
Drone or live event production experience.
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Personal experience in recovery or experience working with people in recovery.
