What You’ll Do:
As a Videographer/Photographer, you’ll produce high-quality photo and video content for marketing campaigns, including community videos, lifestyle shoots, corporate events, and other video needs as needed. In this newly created role, you will play a key role in elevating the company’s creative output and enhancing brand storytelling portfolio-wide.
Where You’ll Work:
Located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, our corporate offices overlook the Columbus Commons which plays hosts to over 200 events throughout the year. Enjoy the building’s fitness center and rooftop terrace with adjoining clubroom, and walk to some of the city’s best restaurants and downtown amenities.
What You’ll Own:
- Create spontaneous, engaging content (ex: resident testimonials, community events, and corporate culture highlights) to enhance brand storytelling and audience engagement.
- Support the development of HQ video campaigns for YouTube advertising, CTV advertising, and organic content across social media platforms.
- Ability to source, coordinate, and direct models on-site for lifestyle video shoots.
- Document key company events, providing high-quality video footage for marketing, training, and promotional use.
- Create internal culture videos to support recruitment and employee retention efforts, positioning Coastal Ridge as a premier employer in multifamily real estate.
- Package and offer photo/video services as part of Coastal Ridge’s internal service offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to generate revenue through external client engagements, capturing a portion of the company’s previously outsourced video production budget.
- Manage a network of freelance photographers and videographers across the country. Maintain this network to maintain cost efficiency for remote work.
- Work closely with the marketing and branding teams to align content with strategic initiatives and business goals.
- Provide creative input into marketing campaigns and collaborate on visual content that supports the company’s messaging and objectives.
- Other duties and projects as directed and assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school degree or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A portfolio of previous work
- Proven experience in event and lifestyle videography, commercial production, and creating compelling visual content.
- Proficient in video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom).
- Strong knowledge of camera gear, lighting setups, and production equipment.
- Experience with drone videography (including certification) is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel to various properties across the US.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for storytelling and creativity, with an eye for detail.
