About the role
At UG Solutions, you will be part of a dynamic team pushing the boundaries of UAS technologies and tactical operations. UG Solutions is seeking highly skilled and experienced Unmanned Aerial System Operators ("UASO") to join our elite team. This role demands advanced proficiency in tactical mission execution, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance ("ISR"), and a real-time battlefield awareness.
As a UASO, you will pilot a range of sophisticated platforms in dynamic and high-stakes environments. Your job will focus on familiarity with commercial-off-the-shelf drones and the ability and willingness to learn, with a need for experience in non-permissive environments. You will work within a drone program utilizing short-, medium-, and long-range platforms and understand the diverse capabilities of each platform in order to employ them in a layered approach. Our work directly impacts global security, humanitarian efforts, and mission success in some of the world's most challenging environments.

Qualifications
- Platform Expertise: Demonstrated experience operating various UAS platforms in tactical or high-risk settings, in both first-person-view (PFV) and non-FPV.
- Acumen: Demonstrated acumen to rapidly learn new systems and integrate them into existing programs.
- Payload Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of thermal imaging, night vision, EO/IR, LiDAR, and multispectral payloads
- GPS-Denied Operations: Proven skills in operating UAS in environments with degraded or jammed GPS, utilizing alternative control techniques
- Mission Planning Tools: Proficiency with advanced mission planning software, such as ATAK, QGroundControl, or similar platforms
- Field Deployment Capability: Ability to deploy and operate UAS platforms in austere environments with minimal infrastructure
- Tactical Operations: Familiarity with operating under Rules of Engagement (ROE) or tactical command structures (preferred)
Certifications: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or equivalent military UAS qualification (preferred)
