ABC4, is looking for a unicorn. Ours is retiring, and we need someone special to replace him. The applicant must be an excellent videographer (with 3 years experience). He/she will be producing long format pieces, shooting them and editing them as well. The job also includes producing and editing 30 minute specials produced by the news department. This person must create and maintain a good relationship with anchors and reporters, as well as photographers on staff. You must be a certified drone operator and know how to incorporate the video into newscasts and specials. Friday nights during the fall, he/she will take part in our Friday Night Beehive Blitz, our high school football program. Must be able to work unusual hours, independently and be a self-starter. Must also be proficient with Premiere Pro and able to carry a full-size broadcast camera.

The News Field/Special Projects Producer must be able to stand, sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. In addition, the Producer must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and be able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
