Roles & Responsibilities:
- Operating a range of sensors for drone operations
- Data collection
- Planning, briefing and mission execution
- Maintenance and upkeep of equipment
- Operational safety
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Associates degree in engineering technology or related field
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience as a Sensor Operator
- Operates with some trouble shooting experience
- Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes
- Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development
- Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience 1-3 years Lidar and drone operations
- Previous experience with electro-mechanical products preferred
- Previous experience with maintenance, upkeep and reporting
- Previous experience working with lasers
- Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
- Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders
- Established ability to manage multiple complex tasks at once
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking. Occasional office involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Very Heavy Travel (> 50%)
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
