Introduction

SkyFarmers is expanding and we are looking for a qualified and experienced drone professional to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct commercial drone operations as pilot in command on operational missions
• Assist with the management and administration of the company ROC or UASOC
• Ensure all drone operations comply with SACAA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain flight logs, operational documentation, and compliance records
• Assist with operational planning, risk assessments, and mission preparation
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding drone operations
• Assist with equipment management, maintenance scheduling, and operational readiness
• Support BVLOS operations and advanced drone deployments where applicable

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Valid RPL (Remote Pilot Licence)
• BVLOS rating preferred
• Experience working in a professional commercial drone environment
• Experience working under or assisting in the management of an ROC or UASOC
• Good understanding of SACAA regulatory requirements and operational compliance
• Experience with operational documentation, safety procedures, and flight planning
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional operations team

Package & Remuneration

• Salary will be discussed during the interview process
• Remuneration will depend on experience, qualifications, and suitability for the role
• Position available in Vanderbijlpark or Cape Town
