At Team UAV, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of drone services in the UK. Our mission is to provide data acquisition solutions that revolutionise the way industries operate, ensuring safety, efficiency and the highest quality service. Our team comprises experienced and passionate professionals dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
We've got an exciting new role available for an experienced Drone Pilot to join our growing team in the commercial drone world. You'll be part of our national deployment team providing drone inspection, survey and response services on a range of tasks such as critical national infrastructure surveys, building inspections or working with first responders.
Drone Pilots are at the very core of our operations. They are the essence of professionalism, they are safety conscious, they are operationally experienced with a steady hand and focussed mind.
At Team UAV, the Drone Pilot is the person in charge of a small two-man team consisting of themselves and a Technician (Trainee Drone Pilot). They work together as a tight team and are sometimes away in hotels for 3-4 days per week or longer, this can be in the UK and occasionally overseas and over weekends now and again. There's also sometimes the need for the Drone Pilot to work on their own. It's a fast-paced and exciting role, the hours can sometimes be long - but our work is rewarding, and you'll get a great sense of achievement from the tasks you carry out.
When you're not flying, you'll be working from the office, or home planning tasks, organising and processing data, building on new procedures and finding innovative new ways and new technology to carry out bespoke tasks. You'll also have the chance to research, develop and test new equipment - if you've got a mind for RC gear and communications.
There's great career progression, too. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and take part in further training. Your job as a Drone Pilot will give you the basic skills and mindset for progression within the company.
