Drone Operator (SkyDweller Technologies)

SkyDweller Technologies, a leader in advanced drone exterior maintenance, is seeking skilled Drone Operators to join our growing team. We specialize in innovative solutions for building cleaning, inspections, and maintenance using cutting-edge drone technology.

Drone Operator
Location:
Various locations across Vancouver island, Primarily in Victoria

Responsibilities:

• Operate and pilot drones for exterior building cleaning, inspections, and other maintenance services.
• Ensure drone operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in setting up equipment, including safety control zones, signage, and pedestrian management.
• Coordinate with clients and on-site staff to ensure project success.
• Regularly maintain drones and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with drone operations (RTK and DJI drones preferred).
• Strong understanding of drone safety regulations and best practices.
• Experience with building maintenance or inspection is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle physical tasks related to equipment setup.
• Valid drone operator’s license (or equivalent certification) is required.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including evening and weekend shifts, when necessary.
• Occasional travel to different job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
