The Role
We are a dynamic and growing real estate company looking for a talented Videographer to join our in-house marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, this position will be focused on producing engaging video content including: reels, videos, and other digital assets that showcase our properties and enhance our brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop & execute creative concepts for digital content on various platforms - aligning with Highland’s brand values. This includes: weekly interactive, user-generated and behind-the-scenes content
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos that showcase our brand, agents, and properties to capture the attention of potential clients
- Write compelling copy, and create photos/videos for social media channels
- Work closely with our team to create monthly content that showcases their experiences with our agency
- Work with our Social Media Executive to engage with the community on Instagram and Facebook
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
- Analyse and report on social media metrics and adjust the content strategy as needed to improve engagement and reach
- Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends and best practices for visual storytelling
- Drone operation for footage related to social media reels, as well as property advertising
- Recording, filming, and editing of podcasts - we have just launched "The Home Front"
- Promoting the agents, agency, property, and location in the best light
- Video editing and production
In order to be successful in this role, you will need: - Demonstrate a strong portfolio of digital content creation and videography work
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in content creation for social media platforms (especially in the real estate industry is desired)
- Demonstrated experience with filming reels and podcasts
- Understanding of how to use Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, social media platforms, and other digital content creation software
- Proficiency with photography/videography, specifically for social media channels
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading ability
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills
- Impeccable communication, both verbal and written
- Experience recording, filming, editing, and posting podcasts to Spotify
- Passion and energy within the role – desire to create innovative, engaging, and exciting work
Own equipment required for the role: - Good quality DSLR or equivalent
- Drone
- Relevant shooting accessories
