Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join the Office of Communications and Engagement as a Videographer.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Concept and create compelling brand content by developing, shooting, and editing video to tell the Gilbert story

  • Capture engaging photos and videos of events, interviews, and general B-roll for use in internal and external outreach campaigns and marketing

  • Collaborate and build relationships across departments to plan and execute engaging video that supports their department goals and objectives

  • Partner with departments to fulfill video production requests, including small-scale projects such as editing recorded meetings

  • Produces long-form content and short-form content for social media, websites, and YouTube, focusing on emerging trends and audience engagement

  • Operate and maintain a wide range of production equipment, including cinema cameras, POV cameras, and other mediums of video beyond traditional cameras, lighting, and audio systems

This position is eligible for hybrid (remote/in-office) work. Core business hours are Monday-Thursday, 7 AM – 6 PM. This position will require occasional on-call, nights and weekend work.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in video production, filmmaking, and/or journalism

  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Film, or Digital Media

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Knowledge of:

  • Technical knowledge of film production equipment

  • Adobe Creative Suite software

  • Storytelling & Journalism

  • Social Media Marketing

Skill in:

  • Creative collaboration

  • Concepting and storyboarding

  • Cinema cameras, Osmo Pocket, POV cameras, lighting, and audio systems Drone;

  • Adobe Suite

  • Various camera technology

  • Audio equipment

  • Lighting equipment

  • Multitasking and analytical skills

  • Ability to build relationships
