We’re on the lookout for a UAV Pilot Flight Test- Operations and Evaluation who is a talented and a detail-oriented individual with the passion for making things happen. If you're ready to take the lead and drive innovation, IDE is where you belong.

What You ‘ll Be Doing

  • Prepares the flight test plans and relevant flight test documentation (e.g. flight test cards, risk assessment studies/reports for flight operations, flight test reports for UAS test flights);
  • Conducts test/qualification/demonstration flights of UAS and evaluates the flight test reports;
  • Cooperates with other IDE/DO units for determining the flight conditions, including any limitations/restrictions of UAS flights for granting permits to fly from competent authorities;
  • Cooperates with other IDE/DO units to define the appropriate flight test area in which the flight test will take place;
  • Cooperates with all stakeholders for developing the emergency response plans for flight operations emergency cases;
  • Ensures that flight test activities are safely conducting and in accordance with flight test plans and conform to the flight permits / authorizations issued by competent authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Valid PPL License or relevant military certificate with minimum 250 flight hours
  • Open Category EASA A1/A3/A2 license, extended to BLOS
  • Familiarity with European and national aviation safety regulations (EASA, HCAA)
  • Valid Medical currency, Class II medical certificate (in accordance with EASA Part-MED)
  • Experience on UAS civil or military operations with flight testing experience
  • Excellent knowledge and experience on flight test activities (planning, flight operations risk assessment, results evaluation)
  • Holder of English Certificate (level 4 ICAO) and EASA R/T license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Desired:

  • EASA Specific Category Practical Skill Assessment Certificate
  • Pilot currency or experience on UAS Specific Category operations
  • Training / experience on flight operations emergency response planning
