Our Production team builds UAVs every day. We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive technician who loves to build and fly drones to join this team operating in a fast-paced environment. This role will work on our production team with operations and engineering to deliver our industry-leading autonomous solutions that accelerate our customers to autonomy.
POSITION SUMMARY:
UAV/UAS Technician & Systems Operator
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembling UAVs from the ground up
- Flying UAVs including but not limited to:
- Ability to pivot and adjust quickly to changing requirements while maintaining an understanding of the technology as it changes
- Researching, evaluating, and recommending solutions and technologies to improve production workflow
- Integrating custom payloads including both mechanical and electrical integrations
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 50+ hours of multi-rotor UAV flight experience
- Has built multiple different UAVs in various configurations (X4, X8, Y3, Y6, Octo, Hex, etc.)
- Experience with Soldering and cable assembly
- Experience gathering and analyzing flight logs to determine system requirements
- Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
DIFFERENTIATORS:
- Experience with PX4/ArduPilot based Flight Controllers
- Technical Writing Experience
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or other engineering productivity suites.
- CNC/Machine Shop Experience
- Experience with Collision Avoidance

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
