We are looking for a Photographer who is as much a technical expert as they are a collaborative partner. Because this is a high-visibility, client-facing role, we need a professional who maintains a polished presence and can navigate various environments—from active jobsites to executive offices—with confidence and poise. We need a creative, team player who can capture the scale of our clients' work with precision, an investigative eye for detail, and a high standard of professional conduct.
What the position entails
Photo Client Services
- Work with the Visual Media team in coordinating, booking, and executing various client needs such as headshots, portraits, architecture, progress photos, event coverage, etc.
- Editing and processing images for final use in various channels, including social media
- Advanced retouching for photos and to aid designers
- Backing up and archiving current and past projects
Gear and Tech Maintenance
- Maintaining and coordinating repairs for Visual Media gear such as cameras, lenses, lights, production equipment, drone, etc.
- Maintaining and organizing the SG Studio Space
- Researching equipment and tech to remain competitive and current with trends
Visual Media Lighting Technician /Assist
- Lighting shoots based on DP/Director’s desired look
- Second shooting video and assisting on other Visual Media projects where photography is not the lead
- Running audio, editing videos, and editing motion graphics
Physical Demands & Environmental Readiness
- Mobility & Strength: Frequently navigate active construction sites and various terrains, including climbing ladders and stairs, while safely transporting up to 50 lbs of gear.
- Stamina & Precision: Maintain steady hand-eye coordination and physical positioning for prolonged periods during shoots, ensuring sharp, high-quality captures in fast-paced environments.
- Visual & Auditory Acuity: Utilize a keen eye for detail to distinguish subtle differences in color, shade, and brightness, while maintaining clear verbal communication to direct clients and subjects effectively.
- Technical Dexterity: Operate complex equipment with precision, including the manual handling of camera controls, lighting tools, and drone technology, with the ability to react quickly to changing environmental conditions.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage equipment, files, and project timelines
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to various locations within the United States for on-site shoots
