Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative part-time videographer/editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual storytelling, experience in real estate or architectural videography, and the ability to create polished, professional content that appeals to our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality video content on location in Fairfield County, including luxury property tours, market update segments, and local business features
- Edit raw footage into compelling, polished videos for YouTube and social media platforms
- Collaborate with our real estate agents to understand and highlight key property features
- Capture and edit drone footage of properties and neighborhoods (FAA certification required)
- Create engaging B-roll footage of local areas and amenities
- Develop eye-catching thumbnails and video titles for maximum engagement
- Assist in planning and storyboarding video content
- Maintain and organize video equipment and digital assets
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video production techniques and social media trends
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in videography and video editing
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Experience with color grading and audio mixing
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and camera operation
- Familiarity with DSLR and mirrorless camera systems
- FAA Part 107 certification for drone operation (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of social media platforms and video optimization techniques
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality video production work
- Experience in real estate or architectural videography is a plus

- Wide-angle and standard zoom lenses
- Drone for aerial photography and videography
- Professional lighting kit
- High-quality audio recording equipment (e.g., lavalier mics, shotgun mic)
- Tripod and stabilization equipment (e.g., gimbal)
- Laptop with video editing software
- Portable hard drives for data storage and backup
Hours and Compensation
- Part-time position: 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility for shooting schedules
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
- Potential for performance-based bonuses and increased hours as our content strategy expands
