We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Offshore Drone Pilot (M/F) to join our team of experts in delivering exceptional inspection and monitoring services.
As an Inspector Drone Pilot, you will be responsible for performing aerial surveys and inspections of offshore facilities, using advanced drone technology. This position requires not only proficiency in drone operations but also a keen understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and navigate drones to perform aerial inspections of offshore installations, focusing on structural integrity, corrosion, and equipment condition.
- Execute routine maintenance, calibration, and pre-/post-flight checks to ensure drone systems are fully operational and inspection-ready.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret inspection data (images, videos, and sensor outputs) to identify anomalies, defects, and potential risks.
- Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and deliver findings to the project, engineering, and asset integrity teams.
- Work closely with engineering, inspection, and HSE teams to improve inspection methodologies, operational efficiency, and safety performance.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable aviation regulations, inspection standards, and company procedures during all drone inspection activities.
Requirements- Proven experience as a drone pilot specializing in offshore or industrial inspection activities.
- Strong understanding of drone platforms, inspection sensors (visual, thermal, etc.), data acquisition, and inspection data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated experience in aerial inspection imaging, surveying, and defect identification.
- Fluency in both French and English is required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present inspection findings clearly to technical teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to operate in challenging offshore environments while strictly adhering to inspection, HSE, and aviation safety protocols.
