This hybrid role combines visual storytelling through camera operation, video editing, and other skills working with live camera operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to seamlessly transition between editing and live production environments. This role requires creative storytelling skills, advanced technical knowledge of video and audio equipment, and the ability to work collaboratively on dynamic projects. Training provided for the right candidates.
Live Media Camera Operations
- Operate video cameras during live events, ensuring smooth and continuous coverage.
- Frame shots and adjust camera angles for dynamic and visually appealing compositions.
- Monitor and adjust camera settings (e.g., focus, exposure, white balance) to ensure high-quality footage.
- Use and maintain advanced filming equipment, such as:
- Digital cameras (Sony, Black Magic, Canon, RED).
- Gimbals, drones, lenses, tripods, C-stands, lighting equipment, microphones, and audio recorders.
- Set up and configure cameras and related equipment for live events and broadcasts.
- Maintain gear in excellent condition through cleaning, updates, and safe storage.
Creative and Project Collaboration
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and team members to align with the production vision.
- Provide creative direction for interviews, scriptwriting, video and photo editing.
General Responsibilities
- Organize project data, equipment, and workflows using project management software
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols during live events to ensure a secure environment for all participants.
