As our brand grows, we want to capture more of these stories in the real world – from deal deliveries to founder moments, client site visits and behind-the-scenes glimpses of businesses in action.

To support this, we’re building a nationwide network of freelance photographers and videographers we can call on when these moments happen.

What This Role Is

This is not a full-time role.

We’re building a trusted network of freelance photographers and videographers across South Africa who we can contact when:

• a significant deal closes
• we want to capture a client story
• a founder moment needs documenting
• a site visit is taking place
• or a meaningful business milestone occurs

When these opportunities arise, we’ll reach out to someone in the relevant region to capture photos and video on-site.

Assignments are typically short, focused shoots designed to capture authentic moments and high-quality visual assets for our marketing and storytelling.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to client sites or business locations when requested
• Capture professional photos and video footage of entrepreneurs, teams and business environments
• Document deal deliveries, founder stories and business moments
• Film short interview clips or natural interactions where appropriate
• Capture B-roll of business activity, facilities, products and teams
• Deliver clean, organised raw footage and images to our shared folder shortly after the shoot
• Ensure lighting, framing and sound quality meet professional standards
• Represent Sourcefin professionally when interacting with clients and entrepreneurs

What We’re Looking For

• A skilled photographer and/or videographer with a strong portfolio
• Comfortable capturing both still photography and video content
• Experience shooting corporate, documentary-style or brand storytelling content
• Able to work independently on location
• Own professional camera, lenses and audio equipment
• Comfortable working in a variety of environments (factories, offices, warehouses, etc.)
• Able to move quickly when shoots are scheduled on short notice
• Reliable, professional and easy to work with
• Able to deliver footage and images quickly after a shoot

Ideal But Not Essential

• Experience shooting entrepreneur stories or small business environments
• Basic colour grading or light editing skills
• Experience capturing interview-style content
• Drone capability (where legal and appropriate)
