Drone technician / UAV technician (m_f_d)

As a leading operator of long-range drones (BVLOS) in Germany and Europe, Beagle Systems focuses on innovation. We are looking for a Drone technician UAV technician (m_f_d) in Hamburg to join our team.

In this role, you are a member of the integration and test team and work directly on our flying prototypes and finished aircrafts. You assemble components to new assemblies and build innovative systems. You integrate these systems into the flying prototypes and carry out commissioning and subsequent troubleshooting. In doing so, you will be the aircraft maintenance and repair specialist and perform the continuing airworthiness work. Preparing prototypes for ground and flight tests is also part of your job. 

Your commitment will ensure the smooth operation of our missions and play a key role in the success of our innovative projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Comprehensive maintenance and execution of repairs 

• Diligent execution of our aircraft maintenance handbook and guidelines, as well as documentation of completed maintenance and repairs

• Assembly of mechanical components and electronics systems 

• Carrying out adjustment work and functional tests

• You have a completed technical vocational training

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in the field of aircraft maintenance, UAV maintenance or RC model aircraft building 

• You have an excellent ability to work both independently and in a team and to interpret technical drawings and documents

• You have excellent knowledge in the use of hand tools

• You like to be part of a motivated team and enjoy achieving goals together

• You can communicate in English
