We are looking for an experienced candidate for leading our drone activities, including planning, preparing, and executing field operations in various scopes (validation, demos, and experiments) as well as managing and leading the pilot’s team as an organic team.

Responsibilities:

    • Managing a young team of up to 10 drone pilots, as a professional leader and direct manager, including recruitment and team member advancement.
    • Oversee & manage the company’s vast drone fleet, including regular and reactive maintenance, purchase planning and budget control according to company’s roadmap.
    • Oversee & manage the drone technician team, from priority definition to product reviews and drone allocations.
    • Planning & executing field operations with consideration to regulatory aspects, field capabilities and logistic necessities.
    • Manage, improve and provide support to the company’s field operations.
    • Work as part of the QA group while working together with research and product groups and assist them in drone related activities.

Requirements:

    • Proven management experience as a team leader.
    • At least 3 years of experience as a drone pilot (military or civilian).
    • Valid CAAI license.
    • Experience working with Pixhawk, mission planner and various DIY protocols & modules – Advantage.
    • Proven experience of planning and executing field operations, from logistics preparation to execution.
    • Flight safety knowledge and orientation, drone regulatory knowledge.
    • Logistic orientation and the ability to work closely with suppliers.
    • Highly motivated, self-driven, independent with the ability to work in a dynamic, changing, and multidisciplinary environment.
