To enable this, Digital Asset Management group provide strategic, tactical, and technical services to our clients – guiding and supporting the implementation of asset management best-practice, tailored to meet their organisational needs.

Role Description
This role is based in our Newark office and within our Digital Asset Management practice supporting the Data Services team to provide data in support of transportation infrastructure service providers in the UK and abroad such as National Highways and their contractors. There is also a focus on supporting structural inspection for various internal and external clients.
We are seeking to engage an inquisitive, proactive, and agile thinking Drone Pilot to complement our team of data professionals.
The role offers an opportunity to develop expertise covering in-depth technical knowledge of drone surveying, data, surveying, and asset management principles, and build into managing the implementation of solutions.
The candidate will be capable and motivated at adapting to new challenges, demonstrating initiative to research and consult with others to find the best solution.
Projects will be diverse in nature, from working on large scale surveying work via frameworks, to small, highly specialised drone tasks where new technologies will be tested prior to work commencing.
Key Accountabilities:
· Drone based data capture using a variety of platforms and sensors
· Planning of all flights, including risk mitigation and health and safety files
· Testing of new equipment and technology to provide solutions for our clients needs
· Business development and costing/bidding for opportunities
· Engaging with the CAA wherever required including PDRA01 renewal and SORA applications
· Maintenance of all logs pertaining to drone flights and pilots
· Overseeing the competence of our additional pilots
· Maintenance of all drone equipment
· Perform supplier engagement and invoicing
· Vehicle based data capture with a second surveyor/driver
Qualifications and Experience
· Excellent drone flying experience, especially over or near infrastructure
· Minimum 150 hours across multiple sizes of Drones, sub 250g – 9kg
· Excellent understanding of health and safety compliance and CAA regulations
· Experience of processing imagery and LiDAR flights to provide our clients with the best possible outputs
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage in business development with clients internally and externally to help grow the drone practice
· The flexibility to travel nationally, we operate all over the UK
