We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Ciellie Solar Survey Technician. As a Ciellie Solar Survey Technician, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys and gathering data to assist in the design and installation of solar systems. This role allows you to set your own days, hours and travel radius. You can work whenever you please, so it is a great opportunity for those seeking supplemental income with a flexible schedule. A perfect fit for gig-workers and those who are qualified seeking to increase their income on the side or gain more experience in the surveying/solar industry! A Ciellie Solar Survey Technician travels to residential project sites around the state in a 50-150mi radius to complete survey data collection in support of solar design/installations. You provide the times that work for you, and you will be assigned surveys accordingly. If you are hands-on, enjoy being independent, and exploring new areas - you will be a great fit at Ciellie.

Please read the requirements below before applying:

• Must have drivers license

• Preferred to have a Part 107 or working on it as well as own a drone

• Solar Experience in Installation, Surveying or any related solar position preferred

• Must have a vehicle to make it to survey assignments

• Exterior meter images and contextual photos of the site itself

• Photos of the MSP/Breaker Panel

• External and Sub-Panel images (as necessary)

• Attic/Truss photos- including those exhibiting accurate measurements of top chord (rafter) spacing/height/width

• Notes on the Map of the site with a key to locations of above mentioned Responsibilities

• Use ladders as needed to enter into attics or access roofs

• Capture photos of the electrical meter and service panels

• Handle basic interactions with homeowners in a polite & professional manner

• Upload deliverables to shared cloud storage in a timely manner

• Conduct site surveys independently, travel from your own home Skills & Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is an asset) in a timely manner

• Customer service skills (or similar) are an asset

• Strong time management and organization skills

• Mobile phone with internet capability is needed to upload images on site

• Consistent access to a mobile phone for communication while performing surveys on the road

Ciellie is hiring over the course of the next 3 months with the expectation of providing assignments after our hiring needs are met.
