Drone Operator Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Drone Operations

• Conduct pre -flight, in -flight, and post -flight drone operations as per mission requirements.

• Execute drone missions for logistics delivery, surveillance, mapping, and inspections<\/b>.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Ensure compliance with DGCA/aviation regulations<\/b> and company SOPs.
  <\/span><\/li>
• Perform mission planning, route setup, payload configuration, and flight authorization.
  <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

  Field Engineering & Technical Support
  <\/h3>

  • Assemble, configure, and deploy drones, payloads, sensors, and ground control systems.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on drones and accessories.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Diagnose hardware/software issues and coordinate with R&D for escalations.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Conduct field testing and validation of new drone platforms and features.
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Safety & Compliance
    <\/h3>

    • Follow all safety protocols, checklists, and risk assessment procedures.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Maintain flight logs, incident reports, and maintenance records.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Ensure safe handling of batteries, electronics, and payload equipment.
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Client & Site Coordination
      <\/h3>

      • Coordinate with clients, site teams, and local authorities for mission execution.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Provide on -site technical support and training to operators or customers when required.
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Represent the company professionally during field deployments.
        <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Documentation & Reporting
        <\/h3>

        • Prepare mission reports, flight data analysis, and operational feedback.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Document field learnings to improve SOPs, safety, and system performance.
          <\/span><\/li>
        • Assist in creating operational manuals and training material.
          <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Requirements<\/h3>

          Education
          <\/h3>

          • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering<\/b> (Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or related fields)
            <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

            Technical Skills
            <\/h3>

            Hands -on experience with multirotor or fixed -wing drones<\/b>
            <\/p>

            Understanding of:
            <\/p>

            • Flight controllers & GCS (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot)
              <\/span><\/li>
            • GPS, IMU, telemetry, RC systems
              <\/span><\/li>
            • Batteries (LiPo/Li -ion), charging & safety
              <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

              Familiarity with payloads such as cameras, LiDAR, or sensors<\/b> is a plus
              <\/p>

              Certifications (Preferred)
              <\/h3>

              • DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (India) or equivalent
                <\/span><\/li>
              • UAS/Drone operation certifications
                <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
