We are seeking a highly skilled and technical drone operator to support our R&D, testing and support teams. In this critical role, you will act as part of our Red Team, piloting a diverse fleet of drones to simulate real-world threats and test the efficacy of our c-UAS platforms.This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role for someone who enjoys challenges. If you deeply understand drone mechanics, control, and assembly, love pushing drones to their limits, and want to play a direct role in advancing counter drone defense, this is the role for you

There is no remote option, you will either be on site (Haifa) or in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute complex flight test plans using various platforms to test and validate C-UAS mitigation systems.
  • Perform specific, repeatable flight profiles including various maneuvers, high-speed approaches, and varied altitude testing.
  • Build, configure, and integrate custom payloads.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to define test parameters and success criteria.
  • Record precise flight logs, telemetry data, and field observations.
  • Participate in post-flight debriefs to analyze data and provide pilot-perspective feedback on C-UAS system performance.
  • Maintain, repair, and upgrade the fleet of commercial and custom-built drones.
  • Manage lipo battery lifecycles, spare parts inventory, and firmware updates
  • Ensure flight operations strictly adhere to local aviation authority regulations and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-flight risk assessments, site surveys, and secure necessary flight authorizations or NOTAMs.
  • Valid drone pilot license/certification.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in drone piloting, or drone integration. DIY/FPV drones HO experience - Must
  • Hands-on experience building, soldering, and repairing multi-rotor drones.
  • Proficiency with ground control software and flight controllers.
  • Strong ability to analyze telemetry data, troubleshoot RF/GPS signal issues, and document technical findings clearly.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between field operations and engineering teams
  • Familiarity with RF communications, electronic warfare concepts, and GPS/GNSS technologies - Advantage
  • Prior experience in the C-UAS industry - Advantage
