QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • Degree: B.Sc or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aeronautical, Aircraft Maintenance, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Drone Engineer/Drone Pilot (recent graduates with solid training are also encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to travel for projects.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; experience in small, fast-paced teams is a plus.
  • Performance-driven and proactive personality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Certification: DGCA-issued Remote Pilot Certificate (Form D-4).
  • Operations: Oversee ground and flight operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Remote Piloting: Operate UAV/RPAS (multicopter and fixed-wing) following flight plans or capturing valuable footage.
  • Flight Demonstrations: Conduct and present drone flight demonstrations.
  • Safety Checks: Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks to ensure safe drone operation.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues during operations.
  • Field Activities: Manage UAV/RPAS and DGPS survey operations, oversee field teams, and coordinate with clients and team members.
  • Flight Preparations: Inspect UAV/RPAS systems before flights, monitor weather forecasts for safe operations, and document flight logs.
  • Flight Monitoring: Plan and navigate UAV/RPAS flight routes and gather necessary data or produce aerial imagery.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of DGCA rules and regulations for drone operations.

The ideal candidate is a UAV/RPAS aviation enthusiast with at least 25 hours of commercial UAV/RPAS flight experience. They should have a strong passion for traveling, exploring new technologies, and embracing innovative approaches.
