We are looking for a motivated CDL Truck Driver with a passion for technology to join our team and take on a dual role that includes operating agricultural drones and supporting crop dusting helicopter operations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a CDL Truck Driver who is ready to expand their skill set and take on the role of an Ag Drone Operator. This is a unique opportunity to combine the essential work of driving with cutting-edge agricultural drone operations. You’ll also be involved with crop dusting support, working closely with helicopters, and maintaining equipment for smooth operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport agricultural products and equipment.
- Operate and manage agricultural drones for crop monitoring, spraying, and other aerial services (training available if needed).
- Provide ground support for crop dusting helicopters, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, drones, and other equipment.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, drone operations, and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Interest or experience in agricultural drone operations (training and certification assistance provided).
- FAA Part 107 drone certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Mechanical skills and experience with equipment maintenance.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and around aircraft.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak agricultural seasons.
- Prior agricultural experience is a bonus but not required.
